So, just to finish up this series, here is the final piece before he was shipped off to his new home.
He has been an absolute joy to draw, capturing all that lovely, short silky fur. And what character his face has, so many features to capture, which of course, as a portrait artist, is really important as otherwise it could be any dog.
The owner needs to see and recognise their fur baby and it’s all the little features that enable this to happen.
I hope to get an opportunity to draw many more Great British Bulldogs in the future!
My next piece is a double coloured pencil portrait, which I will be updating on. What are you working on right now?
